Description
A box folder is part of the packing crew and is responsible for folding the box blanks into stackable boxes. The box folder palletizes the boxes by type, the moves the completed pallets into the packing area for use by the Packers. A motivated, fast box folder can earn as much as $10.00 per hour. They must make folding rate above minimum wage after a training period.
Duties
- Fold boxes by hand
- Palletize folded boxes
- Support Packers with completed pallets
- Keep work area clean
Requirements
- Must be 16 years or older
- Work in a cool environment
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Operate a pallet jack
