Description
Sanitation is a critical part of our food safety and disease control program at the farm. Typically the duties are performed during the swing shift after other departments have left for the day. Cleaning rooms, washing baskets, and spraying chemicals are some of the important responsibilities.
Duties
- Wash floors in growing rooms and hallways.
- Spray chemicals for pest control while following label instructions
- Fill in for Waterer, occasionally
- Cleaning and maintaining fly monitors, spraying equipment for sanitation and pesticides
- Wash picking baskets
Requirements
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Operate a pallet jack
- Cleanliness mindset
- Attention to detail
- Able to carefully follow instructions and safety protocols
