Description
The cooler operator is part of the packing crew and is responsible for assisting the packers including supplying mushrooms, boxes, and other packaging materials. They rotate wire racks in the cooler to ensure the freshest, highest quality product for our customers. They build the customer orders on pallets, then stage and load the trucks with a forklift.
Duties
- Palletizing mushrooms, staging orders , driving forklift, and loading trucks and other duties as assigned
- Support Packers with mushrooms and packaging supplies
- Rotate wire racks in cooler for maximum quality
Requirements
- Ability to work in cool temperatures
- Most finished cases are between 5-10 pounds Lift up to 50 pounds
- Operate a pallet jack
- Operate a forklift
- Be organized and helpful
